Living Peacefully with Tinnitus
You don't have to fight the sound. You can change your relationship to it.
A short intake, then a personalized guided audio session built around what's actually driving your distress — attention capture, sleep disruption, or the emotional charge around the sound.
Wellness support, not medical or psychological care. Cancel anytime.
Sound familiar?
You're not imagining it.
- The moment things go quiet, that's all you can hear — and it feels louder the more you try not to notice it.
- You lie awake at night with your mind locked onto the sound, exhausted but wired.
- You catch yourself checking, monitoring, or testing whether it's 'gotten worse' multiple times a day.
- It's not just the sound — it's the anger, dread, or hopelessness that shows up with it.
- You've been told 'there's nothing that can be done' and you're looking for something that actually helps you live with it.
How it works
A few quiet steps.
Answer a short set of adaptive questions about how tinnitus shows up for you, what makes it worse, and whether you've had a medical evaluation.
We build a personal formulation — your dominant pattern (sleep, attention, or emotional reaction) and what calm has felt like for you before.
You get a guided audio session using the technique best matched to your presentation — attention training, sound recontextualization, or sleep-onset support.
A 4-session arc moves from calming the body's alarm response, to retraining attention, to easing sleep, to reinforcing a steadier day-to-day relationship with the sound.
Questions
Frequently asked.
Will this make my tinnitus go away or make it quieter?
No — and we want to be upfront about that. This tool does not treat, reduce, or cure tinnitus itself. What it can help with is your distress, attention, and emotional reaction to the sound — the part of the tinnitus experience that research shows can genuinely improve, even when the sound itself doesn't change. This is a comfort and coping tool, used alongside your medical care.
Do I need to see a doctor first?
Yes. This app is not a substitute for an audiological or medical evaluation. If you haven't had your tinnitus assessed by an audiologist or doctor — especially if it's in one ear only, pulses with your heartbeat, or started suddenly — please get that evaluation before or alongside using this tool. We'll ask about this directly during intake.
Is this the same as Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT)?
This pack draws on the same habituation principles that TRT and CBT-for-tinnitus programs use — helping your brain treat the sound as unimportant background rather than a threat — but it is audio-only and does not replace a full clinical TRT or CBT-for-tinnitus program with a trained provider. Think of it as a self-guided coping companion, not clinical treatment.
What if the sound is in one ear only, or pulses with my heartbeat?
Please see a doctor before using this tool. One-sided tinnitus, tinnitus that pulses in time with your heartbeat, or tinnitus that started suddenly or came with hearing loss can — occasionally — signal something that needs medical attention. We screen for this in intake and will pause to recommend a medical evaluation if you describe any of these.
I feel hopeless about this — can this app help?
If you're feeling hopeless, or having thoughts of harming yourself, please reach out to a crisis line right now (in the US: call or text 988) or talk to a doctor or therapist. This app is a relaxation and coping tool — it isn't equipped to provide crisis or mental health treatment, and we'll say so directly if this comes up in intake.
How long are sessions and how often should I listen?
Sessions default to about 10 minutes. Many people find a consistent listening window — especially at bedtime, when tinnitus tends to feel loudest — most helpful across the 4-part series.
