Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it.

  • You play like a different athlete in practice than you do in competition — the gap is mental, not physical.
  • Nerves before a big competition, match, or lift eat your energy and focus before you've even started.
  • One bad mistake spirals into three more because you can't reset and move on.
  • A slump has you second-guessing a skill you've had for years, and every rep just adds more doubt.
  • Generic 'just believe in yourself' advice doesn't touch what's actually happening in your body and head under pressure.

How it works

A few quiet steps.

01

Answer a short set of adaptive questions about your sport, your level, the specific gap between practice and competition, and how your nerves and focus actually behave under pressure.

02

We build a personal formulation — your arousal pattern, when your mental game breaks down, and your own best-ever performance in detail — not a generic script.

03

You get a guided mental-rehearsal audio session using the technique matched to your pattern: dialing arousal to your zone, installing a mistake-reset ritual, full-sensory rehearsal of your event, or rebuilding trust after injury.

04

A 4-session arc moves from finding your optimal arousal zone and calming pre-competition nerves, to full PETTLEP-style rehearsal of your event, to a mistake-reset and consistency toolkit, to a portable competition-day confidence anchor.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this coaching, sport psychology, or medical treatment?

No. This is a mental-rehearsal and self-hypnosis-style audio tool for the mental side of athletic performance. It is not sport psychology consulting, not physical coaching or technique instruction, and not a substitute for a licensed sport psychologist, physician, or physical therapist — especially around injury, pain, or disordered eating.

I'm dealing with the yips — can this fix that?

It depends on what's driving it. If your yips-like symptoms are purely psychological (overthinking a well-learned skill, a mistake spiral, performance anxiety), the techniques here — especially the mistake-reset ritual and arousal work — are built for exactly that pattern. If there's any chance of an underlying neurological component (focal dystonia — involuntary muscle contractions unrelated to nerves or thinking), that needs a physician or movement specialist first, and we'll screen for that during intake.

I'm coming back from an injury — is this safe to use?

This pack has a dedicated technique for rebuilding trust in your body after injury, used alongside — never instead of — medical clearance and your rehab program. We will not coach you through pain, and if you describe pain that hasn't been medically evaluated, we'll pause and point you to a doctor or physical therapist first.

What if my sport involves weight class or a 'look' (gymnastics, wrestling, dance, bodybuilding, running)?

We screen for weight-cutting and disordered-eating patterns directly during intake, because these are common and serious in aesthetic and weight-class sports. This app does not provide any weight-loss, weight-cutting, or nutrition guidance — if these patterns come up, we'll pause and point you toward appropriate care rather than continuing with a general performance session.

Can teens use this?

Yes, with a parent or guardian's awareness. This pack uses adult-toned, plain language rather than child-directed imagery, so teen athletes (13-17) can use it directly, but we recommend a parent or guardian knows it's being used — especially around competition stress, injury, or any body-image or eating-pattern content that comes up.

What if I still choke or blank during the actual competition?

No audio session guarantees a perfect performance. What this builds is a rehearsed path back to steady — a reset you've practiced enough times that your body and mind can find it even mid-competition. A mistake is not the story; what you do in the ten seconds after it is.
