Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it.

  • You're functioning fine on paper. You're just running on grey — nothing's terrible, nothing's good.
  • Things you used to look forward to feel like effort now, so you do fewer of them, and it keeps getting quieter.
  • You wait to feel motivated before you do anything, and the motivation never quite shows up.
  • Good things happen and you notice them from a distance, like you're watching through glass.
  • Advice to 'practice gratitude' or 'get out more' lands as one more thing you're failing at.

How it works

A few quiet steps.

01

Answer a short set of adaptive questions about how the flatness actually shows up, what's dropped out of your week, and what still reaches you even a little.

02

We build a personal picture — the activities that withdrew, the moments that still land, what you actually care about underneath the flat — and screen carefully for anything that needs real care instead.

03

You get a guided audio session using the approach best matched to your pattern: getting one small thing moving, letting good moments actually register, or reconnecting to what matters to you.

04

A 4-part arc moves from steadying and permission, to one small doable action, to letting good moments land properly, to a portable way of restarting on the flat days.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this treatment for depression?

No, and this is the most important thing on this page. This is a wellness tool for low mood, flatness, and languishing — the grey stretches most people hit. It is not psychotherapy, not a diagnosis, and not treatment for clinical depression. During intake we ask directly about how long this has lasted and whether it's affecting your ability to function. If what you describe looks like it could be a depressive episode, we'll say so plainly and point you toward a doctor or therapist instead of continuing.

How do I know the difference between low mood and depression?

We can't diagnose, and neither can a questionnaire on a website. But the general shape clinicians look for is a low or flat mood that's been there most of the day, nearly every day, for two weeks or more, together with losing interest or pleasure in nearly everything, and a real hit to your ability to work, care for yourself, or keep up with people. If that's closer to your experience than 'a rough few weeks,' please talk with a doctor. Depression is very treatable, and self-help audio is not the right first move for it.

What if I'm having thoughts of not wanting to be here?

Please stop and reach out for real support right now — in the US you can call or text 988, and emergency services are always an option. This app cannot provide crisis care, and we won't build you a session if this comes up. That's not us turning you away; it's us being honest that you deserve a person, not a recording.

Isn't 'behavioral activation' just telling me to do more stuff when I have no energy?

It's the opposite of waiting for energy. The idea with the best evidence behind it is that action comes first and mood follows, so the step has to be small enough to actually happen on a bad day — not a workout, more like standing outside for two minutes. The intake is designed to find the version that's genuinely doable for you rather than the version that sounds impressive.

I'm grieving. Is this the right pack?

Probably not on its own. Grief has its own shape and its own pack here, and flattening it into a mood problem tends to make people feel unseen. If you're grieving, the grief pack is the better home. If grief has tipped into something heavier — you can't function, or you're having thoughts of not being here — please talk with a professional rather than an app.

How honest is the evidence behind this?

More honest than most: behavioral activation has strong trial support for depression, savoring and gratitude practices have real but modest effects on wellbeing, and hypnosis specifically for mood has only a small, dated evidence base. We use hypnotic delivery for well-supported behavioral ideas rather than claiming hypnosis itself fixes mood.
