Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it.

  • Bedtime stalling, stalling, and more stalling — 'one more thing' every single night.
  • Your child is scared of the dark, monsters, or being alone, and reassurance only works for five minutes.
  • They fall asleep fine but wake up multiple times a night, needing you to resettle them.
  • Nightmares are becoming a pattern and everyone in the house is exhausted.
  • You've tried night-lights, charts, and bribery — you want something that actually speaks to what's worrying them.

How it works

A few quiet steps.

01

Answer a few gentle questions about your child's bedtime routine, fears, and what soothes them (takes about 5 minutes).

02

We build a short, calming audio story personalized to your child — their fears reframed, their favorite imagery woven in.

03

Play it as part of the wind-down routine, at the same time each night, in a dim, quiet room.

04

Sessions build gradually across a short series so new coping skills (like handling a worry or a scary thought) stick.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this a substitute for medical or psychological care?

No. Mindmosis is a relaxation and coping-skills tool, not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for a pediatrician, sleep specialist, or therapist. If your child snores loudly, gasps, or stops breathing during sleep, or shows signs of a significant anxiety or trauma-related condition, please see a doctor first.

What age range is this for?

Sessions are written for children roughly ages 4-12, with language, pacing, and imagery adapted to the age you tell us.

My child has nightmares about something specific. Can this help?

Yes — the intake asks about recurring dream content so we can build a gentle 'rescript' of the dream with a safe or brave ending, an approach adapted from imagery rehearsal therapy.

Will this help with night waking, not just falling asleep?

The intake distinguishes trouble falling asleep from trouble staying asleep and picks techniques suited to each — for night waking we lean on predictable routine cues and calm-body imagery your child can use independently.

Is hypnosis safe for children?

These are guided relaxation and imagery sessions, similar in spirit to a bedtime story with a calming structure. They use permissive, everyday language — no inductions that resemble clinical trance work with vulnerable groups, and no content appropriate only for adults.

What if my child has severe anxiety, trauma, or a sleep disorder?

The intake screens for red flags (e.g., possible sleep apnea, signs of a diagnosable anxiety disorder, trauma-linked nightmares) and will recommend you see a pediatrician, sleep specialist, or child therapist instead of, or alongside, using the app.
