Beat Procrastination, Find Focus

Start the thing. Stay with the thing.

A short intake, then a personalized guided audio session built around your specific stall point — the boredom, the fear, the perfectionism, or the overwhelm that keeps the task closed.

Wellness support, not medical or psychological care. Cancel anytime.

Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it.

  • You open the task, feel a wave of dread or boredom, and somehow end up doing anything else instead.
  • Your phone is in your hand before you've decided to pick it up — five minutes of scrolling turns into an hour.
  • You know exactly what to do and still can't make yourself start.
  • Once you finally do start, staying with it is its own fight — every notification or stray thought pulls you out.
  • You beat yourself up afterward, which somehow makes it easier to avoid the next thing, not harder.

How it works

A few quiet steps.

01

Answer a short set of adaptive questions about what you avoid, how the avoidance actually happens, and what focus has felt like for you before.

02

We build a personal formulation — your avoidance flavor, your derailment moment, your phone triggers — not a generic productivity script.

03

You get a guided audio session using the technique best matched to where you actually get stuck: starting, sustaining, or returning after a break.

04

A 3-session series moves from lowering the barrier to starting, to building the ability to stay with a task, to installing a repeatable focus ritual you can use on your own.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this therapy, coaching, or a medical treatment?

No. This is a relaxation and self-hypnosis-style audio tool for everyday procrastination and focus difficulty. It is not psychotherapy, not ADHD treatment, and not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician when that's what's actually needed.

Is procrastination just laziness?

No — research (Pychyl & Sirois) frames procrastination as an emotion-regulation problem, not a character flaw or time-management failure. You're avoiding the uncomfortable feeling a task brings up, not the task itself. Sessions are built around that finding.

What if this is actually ADHD?

We ask about this in intake. If your pattern sounds lifelong and shows up across very different areas of your life (not just 'boring' tasks), we'll gently flag that an ADHD evaluation with a qualified clinician could be worth pursuing — and keep supporting you with focus sessions either way, since those tools help regardless of a diagnosis.

Will this stop me from checking my phone?

It can't lock your phone for you. What it can do is help you notice the moment right before you reach for it, build a brief pause into that moment, and reduce the emotional pull that sends you there in the first place.

What if procrastination is actually about something heavier, like depression?

We screen for this. If what you're describing sounds like depression-driven inertia (low energy, loss of interest, hopelessness) rather than task-specific avoidance, we'll flag that and point you toward the right kind of support first.

How long are sessions and how often should I listen?

Sessions default to about 10 minutes. Many people get the most out of listening right before a work block they've been dreading, as part of a short pre-work ritual.
