Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it.

  • Pain has become the thing you plan your whole day around.
  • The tension-and-bracing cycle seems to feed the pain, and the pain feeds the tension right back.
  • You've pulled back from activities, hobbies, or time with people because of what a flare might cost you.
  • Sleep is shallower and more broken since the pain settled in.
  • You've tried relaxation apps or meditation and they felt too generic to touch what's actually going on in your body.

How it works

A few quiet steps.

01

Answer a short set of adaptive questions about your pain story, what care you're already receiving, your flare patterns, and what comfort has felt like before.

02

We build a personal comfort profile — your pain quality, your triggers, your imagery preferences — not a generic relaxation script.

03

You get a guided audio session using the comfort technique best matched to your pain pattern and what you've already tried.

04

A 4-session arc moves from calming the tension-pain loop, to building a portable comfort skill, to widening what you can comfortably do, to a steadier baseline going forward.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this a treatment for my pain condition?

No. This is a comfort and coping audio tool — relaxation and self-hypnosis-style guidance for living more comfortably alongside persistent pain. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for care from your doctor or pain specialist.

Do I need to be seeing a doctor for my pain already?

Yes. This tool is designed to sit alongside existing medical care, not replace it. If your pain hasn't been medically evaluated, or if it's new or changing, please see a doctor first — we'll check in about this during intake.

Can this actually reduce how much pain I feel?

Research on hypnosis and guided-imagery approaches for chronic pain — including back pain, arthritis, and fibromyalgia — shows they can meaningfully change how much pain bothers you and how you relate to it, for many people. We frame this honestly as comfort and coping support, not a cure or a replacement for medical treatment.

I'm on pain medication — is this safe alongside it?

Generally yes, as a relaxation-based complement — but this app can't give medical advice about your specific medications. Please check with your prescribing doctor, and never use this as a reason to change your medication on your own.

What if my pain is new or I don't have a diagnosis yet?

Please see a doctor before using this tool as your main strategy. New or undiagnosed pain — especially if it's sudden, severe, or comes with other symptoms — needs medical evaluation first; we screen for this during intake and will point you toward care if needed.

How long are sessions and how often should I listen?

Sessions default to about 10 minutes. Many people find a consistent daily window works best — for example, during a rest period or before bed — across the 4-part series.
