Sound familiar?

You're not imagining it.

  • You snap at the people you love most over things that don't deserve it, then feel awful an hour later.
  • Traffic, slow computers, or dumb mistakes send you from zero to furious faster than you'd like.
  • You're irritable most days — not exploding, just simmering, short-fused, waiting for a reason.
  • You know the blow-up is coming and can feel your body start it, but haven't found the moment to interrupt it.
  • Willpower and 'just calm down' don't work in the actual moment — you need something that works at 2am angry or mid-argument.

How it works

A few quiet steps.

01

Answer a short set of adaptive questions about how your anger shows up, how fast it escalates, and what usually sets it off.

02

We build a personal formulation — your escalation signature, your trigger themes, what tends to be underneath the anger — not a generic script.

03

You get a guided audio session using the technique best matched to your pattern (fast-flare interrupt, simmer drain, or trigger-specific rehearsal).

04

A 4-session arc moves from recognizing your own early-warning signs, to installing a fast circuit-breaker, to rehearsing your actual trigger scenes differently, to a calmer baseline you can carry into daily life.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this anger management or court-ordered treatment?

No. This is a self-directed relaxation and self-hypnosis-style audio tool for everyday anger, irritability, and frustration. It is not a certified anger-management program, not court-approved documentation, and not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. If you need program completion for a court, employer, or legal requirement, please use a certified in-person or accredited program instead.

I've hurt someone, or I'm afraid I might — is this the right tool?

No. If your anger has led to violence, threats, or property destruction directed at another person, this app isn't equipped for that and isn't a safe substitute. Please speak with a licensed therapist who specializes in anger and aggression, and if anyone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

What if my anger is tangled up with a relationship where I feel controlled, or where I'm the one trying to control things?

We ask about this directly during intake. Anger inside a relationship where there's a pattern of control, intimidation, or fear (in either direction) needs a specialized professional, not a general self-help audio tool — we'll point you toward that kind of support instead of generating a session.

Does this work if I've been drinking or using substances when I get angry?

This pack is built for anger on its own. If alcohol or substances are regularly part of your anger episodes, that's a separate and important piece we'll flag during intake — we may suggest addressing that alongside or before this tool, since substances change how reliably any calming technique works in the moment.

How is this different from a generic 'anger management' meditation?

Your session is built from your own trigger themes, your own escalation speed (fast flare vs. slow simmer), and your own relationships at stake — using the technique research suggests fits how your anger actually shows up, not a one-size-fits-all recording.

How long are sessions and how often should I listen?

Sessions default to about 10 minutes. Many people get the most out of listening during a calm, non-triggered window (morning or evening) across the 4-part series, so the new response is well-rehearsed before you need it in the heat of the moment.
